Hamilton County Officials

The county was provisionally erected in 1816, but not seperately organized until 1 Jan 1838. However, even then it remained attached to Montgomery county for the election of state and federal officials.  Hamilton county became attached to Fulton county when it was formed in April 1838 from Montgomery county.  To this day, Fulton and Hamilton county elect together one state assemblyman.
