Edgar Weaver, of Lake Pleasant, had a lively tussle with a full grown lynx in the woods near Lake Pleasant Wednesday night of last week. The lynx's young must have been in the vicinity at the time for it was extremely vicious without apparent provocation. It made a spring from the limb of a nearby tree in Weaver's direction. Weaver was too quick however, and drawing a revolver, he fired. He missed, but the lynx immediately disappeared.
